    3. Marguerite, I do the lookups for the Arkansas list, but I don't have a single request from you at that lookup address. Several for Louisiana and Texas, but nothing for Arkansas. Can't imagine what happened, but I apologize. What I would have suggested is that you post again to AR, but it looks like Johnny did the lookup and posted it to TX list. If that's the correct person, let me know, and I will re-do and post to the AR Archives. If not, just post a new request to the AR list and I will watch for it. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 03, 2004 8:31 PM Subject: Re: Fw: [TX-CEN] > Hi linda > I have a question. 3. Hello Marguerite, This may be the Mary Anderson you are looking for in 1930, here is what I find. Mary W. Anderson Head, Age 71, Born TX, Father NY, Mother TN, Irma Marshell Head, Age 35, Born AR, Father IL, Mother GA, Mary owned here home, value of home 8000, she did not live on a farm, she was widowed, she was able to read and write, she is a keeper of a rooming house, she was the owner and was working. Irma was renting for 15, she did not live on a farm, she is single, she was able to read and write, she was a book keeper at a garage. It looks as Mary lived on Parker St. This is from 1930 Hot Springs, Garland Co. AR, Roll: T626_75, Page: 6A, ED: 12, Image: 0043, I hope this helps you some. Is it appropriate to cross over and ask for a look up from someone else who has access to the 1930 census records? Maybe no one in that area has access to the 1930 records. I'm looking for a 1930 census on the James M Anderson family with wife Mary and daughter Ellen. James might be deceased by the 1930 census as he was 73 in the 1920 Garland County census. This would complete my census records on this family. Would appreciate you letting me know the proper thing regarding this. Marguerite

    3. Hi Marguerite, I would be happy to help you on this if I can. Must go for this evening, but will try to find something tomorrow and send it along. Do you have any more information on Mary (middle initial or something)? 3. Thanks Linda, Have I got a mess now- Wonder why in 1930 it list Robert as son and in 1920 lists him as grandchild. Also in 1930 R.H. Sr. says he was born in KY, In 1920 he says he was born in TN. In 1930 Dora (Eudora) says her mother was born in TN - in 1920 she says AL. Is this confusing, or what? I guess they don't know where they were born. (HA!) If you don't mind - will you see if they were there in 1910? Thanks, jb -----Original Message----- From: Linda Huff <[email protected]> Sent: Jun 3, 2004 7:38 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TX-CEN] 1920/Hale Co/MITCHELL Hi jb, 1920 Hale Co., TX, Plainview, January 20, 1920, ED 101, Sheet 5b 95, 100 - Owns home free of mortgage at 401 West 11th St. R.
