    3. Hi Linda, Thanks very much for your efforts. I really appreciate it. I will be checking out the "A. K." in Gillespie Co., TX. There may be some connection there. 3. Hi Noel, I'm having no better luck than Marguerite had in finding Nathaniel. I've looked in Ancestry 1850, 1860 and 1870 for N., Nat, Natt, Nathan, Nathaniel aged 1 thru 5 and cannot come up with anything. Found him in 1880 in Hays Co., TX (listed as Nott) and the A.K. that Marguerite found in 1870 is living in Gillespie Co., TX in 1880, one county away from Hays. Now whether or not he could be Nataniel's Father is anybody's guess. I have been unable to find anyone matching his age and birth info in 1850 or 1860 when Nathaniel would have still been at home. Nathaniel and Margaret were in Louisiana in 1900 and 1910. Sorry I wasn't able to find anything for you. Linda in Texas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Noel C. 2. Noel C. Matthews
    3. Could someone please check the 1860 & 1870 Census for San Augustine County, Texas and see if there is any LANDRUM listed that has a son named Nathaniel Carpenter Landrum, born 1847 in TN. Looking for Nathaniel's parents and other brothers and sisters listed. Nathaniel married Margarette Ann Noel in January 1871 in San Augustine. They celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary there in 1921. James and Sarah Noel, the parents of Margarette should also be listed in the 1860 & 1870 Census since they were listed in the 1850 census for San Augustine County. Thanks, Noel

    1. Re: [TX-CEN] 1930/Unknown/Long, William R.
    2. Linda Huff
    3. Bonnie, am not finding a lot to help with William R. Long, Jr. in the way of wives names. It seems he married 1st at 28, which was after the 1910 census where he was 27. They had one child William R. who was 4 on the 1920 census and the mother was already dead by that time. Maybe W.R. married in Shasta Co., CA and the child born there, who knows. You mention next that W.R. remarried, that wife poisoned the child, then poisoned herself. That all had to take place between the 1920 and 1930 census as he is married to Bertha in 1930 and you say Bertha was his third wife. The 1930 census makes no sense tho as there are two children listed and one of them is older than the first child William would have been in 1930. Unless they are Bertha's children by another marriage and the last name wasn't recorded. Again, who knows? Anyway, here's 1930 for what it's worth. 1930 Kinney Co., TX, JP 4, April 2, 1930, ED 136, Sheet 1b 16, 16 - owns home valued at $5,000 William R.
