To search the archives, go to the census lookup lists index site at: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Census/ and then choose the state you want and that you want to "search" that state's archives. Type in the surname or location and the year you wish to search. The Rootsweb search engine will bring up a list of all hits for your search request. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 9:23 AM Subject: [TX-CEN] Re: 1900/Richardson, Charles/ Denton County > > Thank you Susan & Linda. > Cyrille > > How does one go back into the archives and find past lookups? > > Thanks again. > > ________________________________________________________________ > The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! > Surf the Web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER! > Only $14.95/ month - visit www.juno.com to sign up today! > > > ==== TX-CENSUS-LOOKUP Mailing List ==== > Free Soundex code converter > http://resources.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/soundexconverter > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial. granddad was born in Grayson county,Tx in 1854. Sorry for the typo! Dianne Hardin in Ca.
I'm asking a big favor: is it possible to get the names of head of house- holds residing in Texas named Hardin in 1860? Was there Alot? I'm trying to find an unknown father who came from Ky. or Tn. about 1850. I've tried the free site area of ancestry and LDS. My eyes are sooo worn out from looking.I feel like I'm going round in circles. All my family says that great granddad came from Ky. In Hardin county of course! My granddad was born in Gratson co.Tx. in 1854. I don't know where they settled? My granddad's mom came from Ark. (Granddad John T. Hardin only used initial from 1900 census onward.) Dianne Hardin way out in Ca.
