Having trouble here, Cathryn
Would someone look to see if they might locate George Washington Powell, white male born 1833 TN and wife Mary Elizabeth, The rest of his family were in Coryell Co. Many thanks Jan
Thanks for answering my query.Johnny on the Hamilton Co. lookup. I have been on the Hamilton site and have found allot of family members on Census there but not M. D. Barnett. I appreciate your time. I am posting a new query in a different County. Camanche County Texas I have received a letter from a contact from a Kent Co.,TX query on McDonald Barnett. He says my gr gr grandmother had some sisters I didn't have listed. He also said M. D. was married twice and his second marriage was to Martha A. Lucas. Her first marriage was to W. H. Lucas. He says he descends from the first born Lousetta Elizabeth and he doesn't know her mother's name either. I find some of Martha A. Lucas Barnett's children and their families in Hamilton Co. but not M. D. Barnett....so far. This is my new information along with some info I already had. I found MCD Barnett listed on Camanche County Land Survey Abstract Indices of the Original Land Owners of Texas so hopefully we someone can find him on the 1870 Camanche Census. I hope. Good Morning Linda, Thanks for sending the link to the 1790 census. I've been looking thru the Maryland census for Carters and have many possibilities. My 4th grandfather was born in Maryland around 1780's. So I'm looking for the 5th. I've been at this the last 2 hours, very tiring. It's a beautiful day and I need to get out in the yard. Hope you have a great day. Sandra

Hello June, Sorry to say that I did not find this family in 1870 TX, I did find Paralee and her husband, and her mom and dad and sister all in 1880 TX. If you need this lookup just let me know. If Paralee and her family came to TX by way of OK in 1870, there will be no way as far as I know to find them. OK did not have a census that year. Hi Kloyece - We're not having a lot of luck here without any info. Is this a black family or white family we are looking for? Since you have an exact date of birth for this person, is there not other info you might be able to give us that would help? Does she have brothers and sisters? If so, give us names please. We may spot one of them and find your gal that way.
