I have just started to help a lady in her senior years research her family and have come across a marriage to MARY ANN TWITCHIN. Only information I have to date is that MARY ANN TWITCHIN married 20 May 1849 to SAMUEL DAY FEARE. They had a daughter SARAH ANN FEARE born 1st August 1856 in Islington London. Would you have come across Mary Ann in your research Any help given would be greatly appreciated. Bette from Bribie Island

My maternal grandmother was Ellen Twitchen born Co. Kildare , Ireland in 1895. She died in Ireland from cancer in 1941. Her father John Twitchen was the sole child of the marriage of James Twitchen and Eliza Behan. They were married in Athlone in Ireland in 1865. John was born later that year. john served in the Irish Post Office and died in 1919. James was from West Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. He was a driver in the RHA and died in 1867 whilst awaiting transfer to Canada. He was 25. Any information welcome. Frank Caffrey
