Greetings Tweed list subscribers, I am a new subscriber today. I have traced my husband's line to the wife of Mitchell Alexander Chandley b.1845. He and Ruth Tweed were married 31 Oct 1867. Ruth Tweed b.1844, dau. of Thomas Tweed b.1820, son of James "Jimmy" Tweed of Ireland, son of William "Billy" Tweed also of Ireland. I found these details online at the LDS Family Search site yesterday and have not yet assembled any documentation. Are any of you subscribers familiar with this Western NC group of Tweeds?
