I have just subscribed and wonder if anyone is interested in the TWEED family of the West Riding, connected to the above farms and St Bartolomews Church, Dean Head, Scammonden, where there are at least 3 graves with MIs Most of the Baptisms appear to be from Ripponden, again St Bartholomews Church which served Barkisland and nearby areas. Marriages tended to be in Elland or in the Halifax Registration District with some in Huddersfield St Peters. Pole Moor Baptist Chapel was also used. Another Tweed farm was O'Cot near Pole Moor >From Egerton 3 brothers emigrated to the USA. William and Edward to Lander Wyoming, there is a Tweed Lane in Lander.
