Joyce may know by now what the 'family news' I had was, that is, if she has had any contact with her family in recent months. Over the past year I have been trying to track down all my cousins and I managed to make contact with Joyce's brother Frank, who I thought I had never met, but found out I had when I was 7 years old. We spoke a few times on the phone and I sent him some photos of his father that he had never seen. I knew he had been/was very ill. Just after Christmas I heard from another cousin David, that Frank had died just after Christmas. I was very sad at this, having only just 'discovered' him. I would love to get in contact with Joyce, (I haven't met her since I was about 16) though as I am in the UK it is not very practical to phone.
