    3. I had this in my file, but cannot find any connection to my Tuttles. Park) Mr. Vernon S. Tuttle Park) Mr. Vernon S. Tuttle, aged 77, passed away on Saturday morning, May 30, 1998, at the Hospice Unit at Breton Manor. Mr. Tuttle was a quiet, humble man who loved his family. He loved to golf, loved Dixieland Music, enjoyed and debated the news, and proudly served his country during World War II. As an employee of Old Kent Bank and Trust, he retired as a Vice President in 1984. Mr. Tuttle was very proud of his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, the former Marcia R. Stuit, whom he married October 25, 1951; his children, Steven Tuttle of Grand Rapids and his special friend, Jody Kalinowski, Patti Sue Jaeggi and her husband, Kenneth of Setauket of Long Island, NY; his grandchildren, Katherine Tuttle McDonald, Kevin Brian McDonald and Kristine Tuttle Jaeggi; a brother, Robert E. Tuttle and his wife, Betty of East Grand Rapids; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, F. Thomas and Joan C. Stuit of Comstock Park; a niece, Sue Carlon and nephew, Scott Stuit. A service celebrating the life of Mr. Tuttle will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Kent Fry of Third Reformed Church officiating. Interment of the cremains in Rockford Cemetery. Those planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society, designated for research, 400 Ann Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. Relatives and friends may meet Mr. Tuttle's family from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
