Hi, I are looking for information about SILAS TUTTLE born ? probably born in England not sure about that tho. No dates on his first wife. Tuttle ancestors said to have settled in CT. Silas and first wife had 13 children:Harmon, Alfred, Jesse, Hiram, Harvey, Charles, Selia,Silus, Issac, Sarah, Mercy, Sylvester and Susan. After the first wife died he married the widow of Samuel Skinner for his second wife. (No name for the second wife.) Second wife had four children:Amy, Sabrina Elizabeth, Admiral and Elisha. Harmon Tuttle married Amy Skinner, his step-sister; Alfred Tuttle married Sabrina Elizabeth, another step sister. Sarah Tuttle married Abraham Hayes.
