Hi Helen: (HelenT965@aol.com) Well, I sure would like to share information on the TUTTLES. I have a lot to enter, so I have a big stack of paper accumulated. However, I have my own file of TUTTLES that is growing rapidly and several GEDCOM originated files that I have obtained from others that I want to combine with my own when I get them all cleaned up. I am reluctant to try to merge them together until I have gone through each one carefully. Can you contribute such a file or whatever? I would be glad to get it. I will reciprocate later when I get my act together a little better. I guess there is the John line and the Joseph line of TUTTLES in the states. Was the John line centered in NH? Was the Joseph line centered in CT? MA probably got some of both lines, which are now mixed together. That is an oversimplification of the situation of TUTTLES in America, but it makes it easier to describe in a few words. They all seem to stem from the same original source in England. Some were loyalists, while others were not. I understand that some of them came over on the "Planter"? Where did they all arrive originally? Nova Scotia? Happy Holidays Family names being researched: TUTTLE, PINGREE, WEATHERBEE, STETSON & ELLERSHAW. Any information appreciated. William R. Tuttle, Esq.
