My Whiting Tuttle was the son of Henry Tuttle and Fidelia Smith, born in 1830 in Herkimer Co., NY. He died before 1870, about 1867-8, I think. He married Mercy towne, dau. of Abner Towne and Hannah Miller, born 1839, died 1918. She married Amos Potter about 1869. Children were: Mary or Margy, b. 1855, Iona, b. 1859 Isabelle, b. 1862, d. 1829 Council Bluffs, IA m. Sam Kelley Elisha, b. 1866, d. 1928, Harrison Co. IA m. Mary ??
