Looking for information on James TUTTLE, son of John and Mary TUTTLE, bn 7 apr 1683 Dover New Hampshire, died 15 may 1709. Did he marry?

There were several Tuttles in Windham, Greene Co., NY in 1790 to 1810. They included John, Joel, Jehial, Amasa, Samuel and William Tuttle. I think they were from at least two different family lines. Looking for an Olive Tuttle, born about 1770 who may have been a dau. of one of these Tuttle families.

My husband and I go walking through the cemeteries here in and around the Springfield Missouri area, I take pictures that are associted with my research. I have Tuttle in my line through Hanna Anna Tuttle/Hurd. In this one cemetery in Seymoure Missouri I found these Tuttles: I.O.O.F Cemetery A.F & A.M Seymoure Missouri Chas Tuttle its a military headstone, and very old and hard to read, but the name is clear. I'm looking for information on my cousin's Grandfather and Grandmother. Clarence Wyatt DUNN (b. August 09, 1912, d. October 1983) married Lee Dee TUTTLE (b. September 12, 1912, d. Abt. 1939?) and had two sons (Clarence Eugene DUNN, b.October 04, 1932, d. July 14, 2001; and Elmer Dean DUNN, b. February 14, 1933 in Comanche, Texas, d. November 05, 1992). Joyce, do you know of any of Solomon's siblings? I have a Solomon in my line but he is later. His parents are John and Hannah Wilson/Wilsie Tuttle. I have been unable to find anything more on John and Hannah. Past their births and marriages I mean. Supposedly they were in NY (entered War of 1812 in Otsego Co.) then sometime after last child born abt 1824, the were in Canada and then Ingham Co. MI. My Solomon was born 8 May 1821. An auful lot of Tuttle's in MI with same names of John's children but haven't been able to connect any together yet. Peg in OH. PS too bad some of mine didn't end up in OH. I used to live in Athens, but as far as I know at this time none of mine came here. Mine went from MI to MT.

Found in Pioneer Society of Michigan Reports of Counties, Towns, Etc. pg587 Lyman Tuttle Lyman Tuttle, Esq., was born in Tunbridge, VT in 1810 and died at his residence in this township (Decatur), near White Oak, at 2 o'clock a.m., on Wednesday morning, May 21, 1884, being at the time of his death 73 years of age. He moved from his native place to Kalamazoo in 1836, where he continued to reside until 1860, when he came to this township and resided here until his death. His funeral took place at his residence on Friday, May 23 at two o'clock pm Rev. H W Harvey officiating. The deceased leaves, to mourn their loss, a widow, a daughter and two sons. Mr. Tuttle was well and favorably known to all our citizens, and was univerally regarded as an honorable and upright man, one whose loss will be felt throughouth the community. His demise was not unexpected, as he had been a great suffere for a long time, from the effects of a cancer which was the cause of his death. The bereaved widow and family will receive the true and earnest sympathy of all who know them, or who were acquainted with the deceased. So far, not my Tuttle, but thought I would post. George B Tuttle b abt 1824 married Wealthy A Rockafellow in 1855 in Geauga Co. Children: Frank, Marian, William and Charles. George disappears between 1860-63 - can't find him in the Civil War. Wealthy supposedly went to Detroit, Mi with the kids - can't find them. Frank ends up back in Cleveland Ohio in his later years and married a May Bentley in Michigan (1891). Hi! I'm new to this list. My family originally came from Kentucky (as far as I know). My great-grandfather was William W. Tuttle married to Mary Hill, one of their sons was John Edward Tuttle born in Lexington, Ky. He married Margaret "Mary" Dilling and had 4 sons, one died as a baby. Their youngest son, Richard M. Tuttle is my father. The other children of William and Mary Tuttle were: Robert Tuttle Susan Tuttle Ransom Bertha Tuttle James Mayme Tuttle Hitzman So if anyone is in or from Kentucky let me know, I'm just beginning to try and find out more about the family.
