Donated and Transcribed by Helen M. Imburgia for the Immigrant Ships Transcribers Guild 15 January 2000 There are: 23 Different surnames on the passenger ships list of the Bark Wenham. I cannot read the one surname (ROTCH?) but it could be ROACH? -3 Not born in Ireland & do not apply. 20 Of the surnames are found in Co. Clare’s PLUs of Ennistimon, Ennis in West Clare; Limerick & Scarriff in South Eastern Clare; & Tulla. Could this be a coincidence -- I don’t think so! :) Happy hunting, Helen aka "irish Eyes" In a message dated 3/17/2 2:07:20 PM, PREALTOR writes: << Does anyone know what ship he came on? Pat >>

    1. [TUTTLE] need lineages of these San Antonio and Bolton NY Tuttles
    2. Dora Smith
    3. I got some of this information from this list two years ago but have lost the information. I need to know the lineages of the following two probably closely related family groups. I recall they were descended from Joseph Tuttle son of William of Connecticut with the psychotic children, adn thus my tenth cousins, but I cannot find anything in my stuff to verify it. I would also greatly appreciate any missing information people can fill in. Finally, I would like to know what information anyone has about Tuttle's from Bolton, Warren County, NY, who went to San Antonio or to central Texas. First group;] John Tuttle married Mary Burroughs. They had: Stephen Tuttle bp 29 June 1707, Coventry CT, m Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of Samuel Thomas. They had: Stephen Tuttle, bp 27 Sep 1730 Lebanon CT, d 1790, m Rebecca Frank and Elizabeth Geer. They had: - Luther Tuttle b 1766 d 6 May 1823 Bolton NY, married Martha? Children? - Stephen Tuttle b 1763 went where? - James Tuttle b 2 Jul 1760 Coventry, CT, d after 29 Jun 1837, removed to Bolton Landing, NY, on assessors list there in 1799. Married Lovica Wolcott. They had: - Rebecca b 1783 m Elisha Babcock went where? - Amanda b 1791 m Luke Merrill in Bolton Landing? - Stephen b 1780, went to San Antonio, TX. He married Sarah (Sally) Boyd, b 25 Jan 1801, d 15 Aug 1832. She married again to Samuel Goodman. She had two children with Stephen Tuttle: - Lovice Tuttle (what happened to her?) - Sidney W. Tuttle b 1805 if he is the Sidney W Tuttle of 1850 Bolton census, which confusingly looks possible. However, Sidney married Sarah. Sidney W. Tuttle the son of Stephen married Roxie Goodman 7 Jun 1830 and their onlly surviving child was Sidney W. Tuttle Jr, born 3 Sep 1834 - in Bolton, died 27; Apr 1916. Next group; Sidney W. Tuttle on 1850 census, age 45, married to Sarah. Children "John J Harriss age 6", Roxy age 4, Sarah age 2, Sidney age 15 (who would have been born in 1834 or 1845). On a nearby farm lived Isaac Hubbell, 40, Mary D Hubbell, 25, and Margaret Tuttle b app 1867 in Massachusetts, maybe related, maybe not. Next group; Jay Tuttle may have had brothers who went to San Antonio, Texas. He was born around 1852. He lived in Bolton, NY, on a farm on top of Federal Hill Road. He married Mary Story, and they had: Helen, Sydney, Bertha who m ___ Baker, Lillian, and Bessie, who married Fred French and may also have married someone named Goldberg. He had a farm on Federal Hill Road near the Story's and the Bixby house. Next group; Sidney Tuttle was a member of the Board of Education of the town of Bolton in 1928. 3. Looking for information on my ggrandfather, paternal. I believe his name may have been "Karl" Tuttle, and he may have been born in Germany. This would be the father of my grandfather Carl Tuttle, Born Nov. 29, 1911 and died Nov. 1969 in Mt. Ephraim NJ. Carl married Clara M. Wood (Millie). I have heard that there were Tuttles in Camden, NJ, who owned a five and dime store next to the Bonzell's (sp?) school. These are relatives form this Tuttle line. Any information would be helpful. Just starting to piece this together. Ginger V. Tuttle gtuttle@adelphia.net http://www.artistnation.com/members/lofts/gvtuttle/
