We have just been notified by another genealogical association that Heritage Quest will no longer allow access except in a library. I have used Heritage Quest for years from home, so I sent an email to Heritage Quest to express disappointment in their new policy. They do indeed plan to stop remote access effective the end of October, and will allow access only in libraries that have their service. It was my understanding that it was only genealogical societies that could not allow HQ remote access, but that it was allowed through public libraries. Have you heard anything different?
