I am in the same situation: been looking for John Turner b. abt 1795 in SC., married Nancy Rolls/ Rools etc; around 1818 in Baton Rouge, LA. Supposly fough in the Battle of New Orleans. Moved to TN., (County unknown) then to MS. Been looking for 6 or 7 years. Harold
