Hi Joan, Was the William Turner b. 1782 in Roskey's book born on the Eastern Shore? I looked through his book several years ago but have forgotten most of the details. Phil Turner "Joan H. The only William Turner that I can find in the Rosky book that was born in 1782 is the Reverend William Leftwich Turner, born 11DEC1782 in Liberty, Bedford County, Virginia. Liberty was the County seat. He died 18OCT1813. He was the son of Reverend James Turner and Sarah Leftwich.
