I have a William Turner born about 1839 in TN., who I am told went from MS., to Texas and joined the Texas Rangers right after they were formed. William Turner was the s.o. John Turner b. about 1795 in SC., County unknown. This John Turner was supposly in the war of 1812 and the battle of New Orleans. Any information will be appreciated. Harold Gosnell p.s. I have no known living Turners.
Is anyone on this list related to John Turner married to Nancy Clark in 1770?
