Richard Turner b 1825/26 TN no parents no siblings just fell out of the sky into Henderson Co. KY where he married Hannah Evaline Shelton 4 Feb 1854. PS My name on my birth certificate is correct but my birth announcement in the newspaper has my name as Donna Kay Stewart and that was in 1953 (my name is Brenda not Donna). As a DAR Registrar, we want as much correct information as you can find the more documentation and sources you can find on a person the better it is to document them. As my husband says Genealogy is a disease and it is contagious and fatal. As in all diseases it starts out small and grows from there that growing is where you learn about your documentation and citing your sources. This is no different than learning to do anything else it takes time and patience and we should all be showing some right now. I'm feeling pretty lost on my Turner family and really do believe he was from Mars! No none of us have green skin or pointy ears, my Turners look like normal people at least Uncle Harold did the last time I saw him, he sounded pretty normal a few weeks ago when I last talked to him. I am trying to convince my Turner male cousin to donate me his DNA for the test to see if we match anyone and are really from this planet we call home.
