Dear All Turners: It is with deep sadness to learn about Nancy Turner Grogan's passing this Monday. She will always be remembered as a loving friend to all Turners, both related and unrelated. Her dedication to the Turner Y-DNA Project as administrator with energy and enthusiasm will always be remembered as well. Like a true teacher, she would patiently explain regarding Y-DNA. Would anyone out there know where to forward all sympathy messages to Nancy's relatives? I want them to know how much we will miss Nancy. Janice It is with deep sadness that I post the obituary for my dear friend and long-time fellow genealogy researcher, Nancy Turner Grogan. Nancy was the initiator of the Turner Surname DNA Project under Family Tree DNA Company of Houston, TX. She worked tirelessly to make the project a success for each member and we will all miss her. For those who might be concerned about the project, I have worked with Nancy on it from the beginning and will continue the project. Nancy now knows all her Turner ancestors and I'm sure she is smiling down from heaven at the rest of us mortals still searching.
