Found at genforum.genealogy.com William HOLT and family moved from Troup co,GA to Barbour co.,AL and are on the 1840 Barbour co,AL Census. William's Will was probated in Barbour co,AL, May 1849 and lists his heir as: son, Thomas; granddaughter, Martha, daughter of son,William [G.]; daughter, Elizabeth HOLT Rainey, wife of Hu(a)rbert C.Rainey; son, Abdon [Alexander]; son,Asa [A.]; son, Irby Leroy[Lee](This is my Paternal GGGrandfather!); son, Clayton; daughter, Jane Mariah; and mentions Wingait[Wingate] M. Turner and wife also. These heirs are listed on the 1850 Barbour co,AL Census. I have no known connection. Harold Gosnell
