    1. Re: [TURNER] Alabama Turners
    2. The Jackson County, Alabama, Esley Turner line, so far hasn't proved to be related to Shadrack's line. We had a decendent of Esley, through his son Bailey , do a DNA test. The results showed we weren't related to any of the Turner's on the Turner DNA project. Which helps us not waste hunting time on lines that aren't related to our line. It did show we were 24/25 match to another Surname. So were're trying to find a male from another male sibling to do the DNA to see if possibly Bailey was adopted, etc or if it's Esley. -----Original Message----- From: Carol C-H <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 11 May 2005 10:30:06 -0500 Subject: Re: [TURNER] Alabama Turners My cousin's Birmingham area TURNER ggmother was Sarah E., b. 1845, VA, d/o Robert TURNER and Elizabeth Carson MCGUFFIN TURNER. That line goes back to Shadrack. I have not checked to see if any of Sarah's siblings came to AL also - might be worth looking into - http://awt.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=DESC&db=eddievaden&id=I6805 Carol ==== TURNER Mailing List ==== Turner list website - http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/t/turner.html ============================== Jumpstart your genealogy with OneWorldTree.
