    1. Re: [TURNER] Thanksgiving Dinner-Squire Turner and others
    2. My Turners were in Clark County, KY. when Clark Co. was formed from Bourbon County in 1792. Joseph Turner bought 200 acres of land that was located in Bourbon County before Clark was formed. When Montgomery County was formed from a part of Clark County the Turners were living in Montgomery County. Joseph's son, William Turner, married Sarah Pointer in 1794 Clark Co. and had children shown by census records that I have no record of their names. There was a Patience Turner, of Montgomery County and daughter of a William Turner, who married John Goodpaster. There were so many Turner families living in central and eastern KY. that I believe DNA is the only way to get these Turners sorted out. Three descendants of this Joseph Turner have had their DNA tested and recorded on the Turner DNA site and although they live in different states they have positive proof of their Turner line.
