    3. Hi Linda, Sampson Turner's father was Daniel, also born in Worcester Co., MD. I have him in my online genealogy: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/. Just go to the "turnparker" database. There is this disclaimer: this genealogy is the best that I can do for now, based on available sources. It is hard to find primary sources for 18th Century people. In other words, it is a work in progress. So if you discover any information on this Turner family, primary source or otherwise, please let me know. He married his cousin 1781 in Worcester Co, Mary Turner b. 1763 Worcester Co. Maryland and died 1850 in Hancock Co. Georgia. They only had one son, Wilson Turner b. 1800 Baldwin Co. Georgia. I would love to find proof of who Sampson's parents are. Mary's parents were Zadoc Turner b. 1729 Worcester Co. Maryland and died 1819 in Hancock Co. Ga. and his wife was Sabra Hick b. 1730. Sampson and Zadoc were both Revolutionary War Soldiers for Maryland. I can not find proof of where Sampson was born. No one has ever proven Sampson for the DAR, so I have to prove his place of birth as a new patriot. His military papers only state that he fought for Maryland. Any ideas or suggestion would be greatly appreciate.
