I would like to ask Abraham Turner b. 17 Sept. 1718 in Guilford, New Haven, CT., and who married first Elizabeth Evarts and secondly Thankful Gough (Goff) who his parents and grandparents were. Was he related to Humphrey Turner? Abraham and Elizabeth had a son, Abraham Jr. who married Sarah Niles. They had a son, Artemus who removed to Lower Canada (Quebec) before 1798 and married Elizabeth Dunham. This branch of the Turner family is still in Canada today, however I never see any referance to them. Anybody on the list researching this line of Turners? I would invite my gg grandpa William Turner, born 1815 in Ohio. He was first married to Rhoda Haley, then to Elizabeth Hisel (possibly a former married name). His son Ambrose, married to Nellie Cain was my great grandpa. I would love to know who his parents and siblings were.
