Found the following info: Robert S. Turner born 1912 Indiana Registered for WWI draft on 18 Feb 1941 in Portland, Lane Co., OR He was a single man, no dependents. Height 72 inches tall; Weight 194 Oregon Death Index has: Turner, Robert Sco [think this cuts off because not enough spaces allowed for data entry] Died: 25 Dec 1986 Lane Co. OR Born: 20 Oct 1912 Social Security Death Index has: Robert Turner B. 20 Oct 1912 D. Dec 1986 with Last Soc. Sec. address as Junction City, Lane Co., OR Social Security issued in Iowa before 1951 This looks like the same man. Still can't turn him up on 1930 Census. Please note I corrected the place of residence as Nebraska (not MO) for where his father Pascal Russell Turner resided when he enlisted for the WWI draft. Gail R.
