    3. Does anyone out there in TURNER LAND believe their line came from France??? Have been searching my line for eons with very little success. DNA is not an option since there are no males fitting the bill. I am searching for an Isaac TURNER b May 1788 Paris, FR. He died in Wayne Co., PA 1867. He enlisted in the War/1812 in 1813 in Mamaroneck, Westchester Co., NY, then disappears until 1848 when he shows up in Wayne Co. I do have Isaac's 1812 US Archives records but they show nothing of genealogical value. Have also checked Westchester Co. to a dead end. The given name Milton runs in the family as do twins! Family lore says Isaac came from the 'Mid-west' and had been married at least once before, when he appeared in Wayne Co., PA. The 1850 census shows a John Turner living next door to Isaac and wife Nancy (KELL(E)Y), who I believe is a son by another marriage. Anyone missing a grandparent????
