Dora, Researching the Turners of your area is like trying to wade through a virtual molasses swamp. Those folks moved back and forth across that NC/VA line, owned property on both sides, and had branches of their families on both sides of the line. There are also clearly several totally unrelated groups of Turners there even at very early dates. We are getting some of them documented in the Turner DNA project in an attempt to begin to be able to separate them out. It is the only way that will happen and this will work. Gail
