For those of you who are looking for a William Turner born abt 1827 married to Emily born abt 1831 with children Mary, Louisa, Martha and Adulin and a father or son named John, you might want to take a look at this. Ancestry.com has this family transcribed incorrectly as SUNNE instead of TURNER. I am not sure if John is maybe the father being age 70 as they have him transcribed or a son age 10. From the census taker's handwriting the first digit in his age does not look like the way he makes his ones or sevens. I tend to think it is a one rather than a seven because he is listed right after the mother and before a nine year old child. If anyone is connected to these families ESPECIALLy the B and Charity Turner please contact me via email as I am trying to track a Thomas Turner born in Ga in 1860.
