My daughter lives in Guthrie, OK. The story goes that where ever the state seal is , that's where the capital will be. A group from Oklahoma City snook into Guthrie and removed the seal, moving it to Oklahome City, which now made Oklahoma City the capital. This is off the wall. I have a William Melvin Turner married to Josie Bell Ward. my grandmother was Josie's sister Emma Lou ward. Emma and one of her sisters lived around Guthrie Oklahoma.
