In a book from the Library called Kentucky History, Jozie Mae Turner Matthews writes: Among the early colonists was Edward Turner. He was of English parentage, and was born about 1631, since on December 3, 1651 " att a court held at St. Maries," Edward aged about 20 years was sworn and examined in open court.He owned land which was called Turner's Forest, the first survey of which is dated 1670. He was married twice; the name of the first wife was Elizabeth, then Mary. His children were: Thomas,Samuel, and Elizabeth. He died about 1707. Does anyone have more information on this family?
