So Greene county was right ..and they had moved to Troup county AFTER Abdon was born 7 Feb 1823. Wingate M. TURNER and family listed in the 1850 Fed.Census, AL, Barbour co, house#1034.: In "...the 1850 Barbour Co., AL census and found Asa A. Holt living in House #1033 with N.A. [INCORRECT,Initial is an"A"]Holt, 18 yr. old female born in GA; I.L.(Irby Lee) Holt, 20 yr. old male born in GA; and C.A. Holt 19 yr. old male born in GA, all in the same houesehold.  "Next door to them in House #1034 was a Wingate M. Turner, 49 yr. old male born in GA; Laura C. Turner, 42 yr. old female born in North Carolina; Charles A. Turner, 11 yr. old male born in GA; and Jane M.
