    3. I have several William Creasys. Can you give me a clue as to which one was married to Polly/Patsy Turner? 1. Re: [TURNER] James Turner died 1789 in VA
    2. Russ...all of this is new to me. I just finished the probate records that I have and I think it is not a complete record. There are no settlements for Jesse, Admire or Delilah Turner in these papers. Of course, other explanations could be made. Admire is the one I'm trying to trace. BUT.....here is the last record that I have: Acct. of Thos Hale Guardian of P. Casey Examined...Will Bk 1, p. 226. At a court held for Franklin County at the Courthouse the 6th day of June 1803. Ordered that Stephen Smith, Fleming Saunders, Nathaniel H. Claiborne and Caleb Tate, or any three of them state, and settle, the account current of Thomas Hale with Patsey Casey daughter of James Turner deceased, who hath attained the age of twenty-one years and who was one of the Wards of the said Thomas Hale. 1803. July 1st. We have this day settled the account of Thomas Hale Guardian of the above Patty Casey late Patty Turner, and find the said Hale to owe said Patty Casey, the above balance of 29 pounds 4 shillings 11 pence. Given under our hands and Franklin Courthouse the date above. Ste. Smith Nathl H. Claiborne Caleb Tate The County Clerk was ordered to record settlement. So.....there must be a Polly and a Patsey/Patty Turner. Polly married William Creasy and Patsey/Patty married Thomas Casey. In 1796, the account was current with the administrix per recorded court order. At that time, William Creasey was paid as a legatee, along with Kinzey Coats and Thomas Overstreet. There was no mention of money paid to Thomas Hale as guardian of the 4 orphans of James Turner on that account....which I think is odd....especially with the 1803 settlement with Patsey/Patty Casey. Other than what is here...I have not found a Creasey/Turner married within the right timeframe. I have not found the Overstreet/Turner marriage either. I did find the Coats/Turner marriage. Now I think I'll look for the Casey/Turner marriage. If anyone has answers....please speak up and help me straighten this out. Does anyone have an Admire Turner who was b. ca 1780 in VA?
