Narrative-raw information etc .I do plain to put it in a book for the children and other members of the family. I guess I should also add that I use Family Tree Maker 2006. Donald Hi Donald, Your letter could be from my father, who is a Turner, up until the computer part. He got really discouraged and gave up. No amount of encouragement to get him on line has worked. He has the everything in photo albums. I have taken his tree and put it into my Family Tree Maker program, which is a wonderful program coupled with ancestry.com. I started my research as a newbie to both computers and family research following in my Aunts footsteps. She took a little from both her Family Tree Maker program and raw data and made the most wonderful books that she sold at our family reunion. The money is used to help cover the cost of material for the book and for our reunion costs. She went to a craft store and got a photo album that has a picture frame type cover and put the family name on the cover. She then started with the older generations and told their story in pictures and whatever items she had for each child. She is now going to do the next generation in the same manner. What a lovely keepsake which can also be recopied for all your children. Now if I can get my father to follow suit I would be very happy! Good luck with whatever project you decide to do. Best regards Linda Turner Murphy
