    3. I am trying to track down my TURNER ancestors in Maryland. I have an Abigail TURNER who married Elisha Twyford PARKER. He was b. abt. 1732, prob. in Somerset Co., MD and died 1787 in Worcester Co., MD. The unverified information I have for Abigail is that her parents were Samuel and Sarah TURNER. Samuel was b. abt. 1670 and died 5 March 1760 in Worcester Co., MD. Samuel was the son of Edward TURNER, who d. abt. 1729 in Northampton Co., VA Jim, I would love to have the information you have on the TURNER line in MD. Even if our lines did not cross, it could be valuable. Thank you... Dale

    3. Dale, I think Phillip Turner who posts frequently to this list is of the line your are interested in. Also, Paul Tilley. Not sure Paul watches this list though. Phillip, want to respond to Dale and tell him how to reach your data base? We know that the big group of Turners in Charles/St. Mary's County, MD is not related to the Somerset/Worcester Co. MD group of Turners because their DNA does not match. The Somerset/Worcester Co. MD group is part of our large Group 2 (Salmon colored on our chart) family. The Charles Co./St. Mary's County Turners are part of our Group 12 (Olive colored on our chart) family. http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~turnerdna/ Click on word "Results" on left of screen for chart.
