    3. Jim, I have no record that Reuben Turner and Elizabeth Lykins ever lived in AL. They are found in the 1820 Cumberland Co. KY census and then the 1840, 1850, 1860, and 1880 censuses for Warren County, KY. They had 9 children. They both died in 1880 - he in Warren Co. and she in Butler County, KY. I have two other Reuben Turners in my database that are related to this KY Turner line and neither of them ever lived in AL as well. However, three men who we believe are brothers of Reuben did move to Marion Co., AL, about 1829 and are found there in the 1830 census. Their names were Elijah, Thomas, and Lorenzo Dow Turner. These families were in Itawamba and Monroe Counties in MS by the 1840 census. I am descended from Lorenzo Dow Turner. Contact me if you need further info.
