Turner who died 15 Sept 1934 in Greenville Co., SC (Death Certificate #14295): The Greenville News Mrs. Amanda J. Turner, widow of the late Burrell Turner, who died nine years ago, died late Saturday night at the home, 88 Lester Avenue, Union Bleachery, following a year of illness. Mrs. Turner was 72 years of age and came to Greenville to make her home about 13 years ago from Tryon, N.C. She was a member of Union Bleachery Baptist Church. She is survived by the following sons and daughters, W. T. Turner and Edward Turner of Union Bleachery; John Turner, Albert Turner and Mrs. H. P. Porter of Tryon, N.C., and Mrs. M. E. Jones of Canton, N.C. One brother, William Johnston, 38 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. Furneral services will be held at three o'clock this afternoon at Union Bleachery Baptist Church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. R. R. Brady, the pastor, and internment will be in the Reedy River Baptist church cemetery. The active pallbearers will be H. F. Keith, Albert Cooper, E.L. Bridwell, R. W.
