Peni - Yes, I know Christine. She has done a lot of the research on the "William Thomas" Turner family, and we have shared information back and forth. I don't know if Christine has yet hooked up the computer her daughter was transferring on to her. "Lacy" is the name you would be looking for if you have one married to a Turner. The census you refer to does show the named to be "Lucy" but all other census entries has her as "Lacy" with the proper children in the household, until they were all married and had their own families. My father, who lived next door to Lacy (near Hodgesville) during the 1890's, knew her only as Lacy (his grandmother). But if you should find any different information, I would be very interested in knowing about it! One of the big problems is which of the Watford families does Lacy belong to. I have a theory, but have not been able to yet establish proof of the family connection. My father did not know, but he did seem to know certain Watfords, Mixons and Tindels in the area as being related to him (and therefore to Lacy). Good luck on your research! Cleatus M.
