We may be cousins... but not necessarily; Turner is a common name. The Joseph in our line had a cousin Joseph born in 1767 (I think in Lyme, NH) to Habakkuk Turner & Lydia Rose. I don't have anything about him except his birth (I have a lot more info on his brother Robert b in 1769 married to Hannah Porter - they stayed in Lyme NH but there is no saying that Joseph did). There was another male line which I haven't reliably been able to follow (ie Habakkuk & our John - our Joseph's father - had a brother Samuel as well as a sister Sarah - she also live in VT for a while before ending up in NY) Did your Joseph continue to live in VT?
