On Monday, we in the US will observe Memorial Day, to honor all those men and women who died while serving our country. http://www.usmemorialday.org/backgrnd.html If you have an ancestor or family member who died while serving, please send a memorial post to this list about him or her, and please add the name of the ancestor or family member to the subject line "Memorial Day". Carol, I would like to inquire as to why it is that my postings to this list seem to be blocked. I am an active researcher of Turners and have been for about 25 years and have accumulated a lot of information on Turners which I readily share. Yet it seems that often the e-mails I am sending to the list are not being posted. I have blind copied myself at another e-mail address that I do not use to subscribe to the Turner list and I am receiving those copies. This morning I sent several e-mails to the list for death certificates for some Turners who died in SC with information from census and obituaries and cemetery information that I have put together. Yet, not a single one of those postings was posted to the list. Would you please explain to the List why my postings are being blocked? I think we have a right to know what your policies are. If you are not interested in allowing people to post information that is helpful to others, then perhaps it is time for you to step aside as the List administrator. Gail R.
