I will try once more to put my information on my french canadian Turners on this list. For some reason, it never seems to appear there. Thanks, ____________Turner married Agnes M.__________ Issue: Antoinette/Henrietta and Electa/Electra. Agnes was known as a Canadian Widow, although the Chicago City Directory does not say that. Agnes and daughters lived in Chicago at 522 Washington Blvd. in the years 1886, 1887, 1888. Agnes died 16 Dec 1888 at St. Luke's Hospital, Chicago of typhoid fever. Agnes worked for Leahy and Co. on first Franklin Ave and then it moved to 150-5th Chicago. When Agnes died the girls were placed in an orphanage and my gr. mother, Antoinette, was taken as a foster child by a couple by the name of Fred and Grace Turk, of Black Earth, Wisconsin. Antoinette was born 10 Dec 1888. So-she was 4 years and 6 days old when her world fell apart completely. Her sister was adopted several times, returned to the orphanage and finally lost track of. Our family has been trying to find out the full names of our great gr. parents for three generations now, with no success. Did Electra live to have a family? We are seeking whatever help there is out there about this. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. DeeAnn Ludden Moore
