Looking for information on my GGrandfather Joseph Turner. Born 1846 or 47; married ALice Sims (sp?) at the end of Civil War. They moved to Texas and then he or some of his children moved to Colorado, (Ignacio), Durango, LaPlata County. Had six children: Robert, Benjamin, Lulu, Maude, Palman Theodore (my Grandfather), and Georgia. Georgia Turner Cooke b. Feb 26, 1894, d. June 4, 1988. Family originally from the South (state unknown).
