Just wanted to let the group know that I am probably one of the main sources for information on this particular TURNER line. William Godwin TURNER was born William GODWIN in Derbyshire, England in 1789, eventually came to America, added the name TURNER, moved to SE Ohio, married and had a large family. This TURNER line is not connected to any of the other TURNER lines at all. I am now trying to trace his parents (I do have a clue) and have some info on when/why he left to come to America. Sue
