Hello everyone. I'm new to the list, and thought I'd post my interests. I'm looking for Turners in Maltby, Yorkshire. Thomas Turner and Hannah Wood married there in 1776, and their children were all born there. Their son Thomas also married there, to Catherine Brown(e), and had his two children, William and Francis William. William emigrated to Australia in the 1840 (according to legend), and married Margaret Killean. They had ten children. After Margaret passed away, William remarried, this time to Harlettie Louisa Smith (nee Groombridge). William and Harlettie had three children, Sydney (my great grandfather), Claribell and Myrtle. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries, or take a look at my website at www.i-o.net.au/members/mbt Thanks!!
