To find Bessie Turner. Go to 1870 Census Tenn and check the county she was married in plus counties, the county may have come from and check all Turners for a 6 to 8 year old girl named Elizabeth or Bessie. It will take a while but... Also check 1860 in Tenn for her mother's maiden name to see where that family was located. If you are not close to a large library with good census records, let me know. I will check for you one evening after work. Orlando Public Library has good records. If you have done this already, let me know and I won't waste my time redoing what you have done.
