John Turner - p. 258 - John married Catharine Butler on 9/9/1805 as found in First Marriage Book of Wayne Co. KY. Found in Scott County, KY - I was looking for Pitts, Craig, Woolfolks, Hawkins. Scott County, Kentucky - A History by Apple, Johnston, Bevins, eds. John W. Turner p. 173/174 John W. Turner was a stage line operator - no dates given. check references - Coleman Stagecoach Days, Snyder, Perrin A History of Fayette co, and Bevins History of Scott Co. Not sure which book it was listed in as all three are given as reference for the section on stagecoach lines. I checked Bevins book - not there. Julius Turner p. 104 - with the Kentucky troops in Remember the Raisin, taken prisoner - from Reddings company. Served in War of 1812. check the records. Theodore Turner p. 306 was involved in Georgetown Athletics, 1913, indentified in group picture of team - looks like baseball uniforms. Matt Turney - p. 313 Mentioned with a group of men and horse racing - 1908 Mrs. Matt Turner p. 374 - 1924, participated in a program portraying their ancestors. she was in charge of properties.
