    3. Lee, that's me Rhonda you are asking about. IL. Hi Linda/Rhonda. I started to respond to Linda's message earlier because of what I believe to be a TURNER/CLARK association going back to at least the early 1700's, probably earlier. Now, I would like clarification regarding which of you is researching the TURNERS with siblings: Louisa, Archibald, and Martha. My Turners had ties to the CLARK family, and my GGG grandfather, Vines Turner, b. 1766, Sussex, VA, d. 1811, Franklin Co, NC, had children by those names. Also, "Daniel" is a name associated with a Turner family to which I know I am related. Coincidentally, I've been told that the GGG grandmother of Vines Turner was Judith BURTON who married William HUNT. Linda, I found your couple. J J Clark married Lydia Turner on May 13, 1849 in Macon County, Illinois. That is all the info I have on my cd. I have the following states, but not all their counties on the cd: Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Ohio. I have family that live in Randolph and St. Clair Counties of Illinois. My Turner line starts with PERRY BURTON TURNER who married MARY ANN ' POLLY' SWEAT IN CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. They had eleven children, GEORGE WASHINGTON, SARAH, LOUISA, ARCHIBALD, ADALINE, MARY FRANCIS, FRANKLIN WOODFARD, MARY BELL, MARTHA S., DANIEL ALBERT and LEE ELLEN. I hope this marriage date agrees with at least one of your sources. Good luck, Rhonda Date sent: Thu, 20 May 1999 15:17:42 -0500 From: Rubow <sweep@apexcorp.com> Send reply to: sweep@apexcorp.com To: Rhonda <rhonda@bsc.net> Subject: TURNER family - Macon Co. IL. Hi Rhonda Thank you very much for asking to do a look up for me. I need the wedding date for Lydia TURNER & John J. CLARK because the ones I have found disagree. The other TURNER children I have their marriage dates. Thanks, I really appreciate your help because I live 120 miles from a big research library. Does your Macon Co. IL CD have another information besides marriage dates? Do you have family in Macon Co. IL.?
