    3. Bob The volumes are available in a library that I go to. They are a good place to start, but do sometimes include errors because it is a compilation of materials sent to the editor by others. We should always double check anything we get that isn't a primary source. You would think a tombstone would be accurate, but Abraham Kirby up in VT has two generations transposed on his genealogy listed on his tombstone. The author of The Kirbys of New England copied this error and propsed another ansestor from England to explain it. This was picked up by Virkus and finally corrected by a later author who noticed a problem with ages. I point that out as a major problem, but a lot of data in the book has been very useful except few geographic locations are provided and siblings aren't listed.
