Hello Turner researchers: I am new to this list. I am researching my maternal grandfathers family. My grandfather was Allen Winthrop Turner born in Marion, Union County, LA in 1889; His parents, according to his death certificate were: Isaac Floyd Turner and Martha Clarenda Day. Isaac Turner (my great grandfather) has no information on his death certificate as to who his parents were; nor does my grandmother, Martha Day. A researcher I met online, told me my great grandfather Isaac, may be Isaac Franklin Turner born to James Madison Turner and Jane Acree in Union County, LA around that time.
