Are any of you working on the line of Cornelius Turner, b. 1812 Delaware? He had a wife, Mary (Boswell). Her roots were in Belmont Co. OH where they married in 1842. Cornelius (d. 1879) and Mary (d. 1878) both died in Kansas - both buried in Wichita. They had moved west from OH in 1877. They had the following children (all last name Turner): Benjamin Stokely (died in MO at 26) Asenath (wed Wellington Blair) William Parker (lived and buried in MO) Cornelius Edward Penina (wed Broomfield--died in KS) Mary Jane (wed James Salman)--died AR James L (died as infant) Joseph T (lived in Barney OK in 1914) George W (buried in Wichita) Daniel Webster (settled and died in Sumner Co. KS) John H (died at age 24) Samuel S (last known to be in Fresno CA in 1914) I especially would like to correspond with any "cousins", but welcome leads any of you might have. I believe Cornelius had a father named Cornelius and a mother Elizabeth. I have been unable to prove any connection with them through records. Help, anybody? Carolyn
